Tool
Door hardware HS code finder. Six digits we can stand behind, and where yours begin.
Door hardware sits in two headings. 8301 is anything that locks: locks, cylinders, padlocks, keys and their parts. 8302 is anything that mounts, hangs, closes or holds without locking: hinges, handles, flush bolts, door stops and, under its own subheading, door closers.
The first six digits are international. The European Union adds two, the United States four, India two; those national digits carry the duty rate and are the importer's to confirm, ideally with an advance ruling.

What goes on our documents
We print the six-digit HS code on commercial invoices and packing lists. Your national tariff code goes on them only when you send it: a supplier abroad cannot administer your tariff.
